Rathi Cattle is a significant dairy cattle breed that can be found in Rajasthan dry regions. Its name is derived from the nomadic Raths, a pastoral clan of Muslims descended from Rajputs who live in the area. In Loonkaransar tehsil, commonly known as Rathi tract, in the Bikaner district, there are unusually many animals. This is entirely black or brown coats with white spots are also encountered, however they are less common but Rathi Cattle is typically brown with white patches all over the body.
