Sahiwal Cattle Breed is among the top dairy breeds in Pakistan and India. It tolerates heat well, resists ticks, and has strong internal and external parasite resistance. Cows average 2270 kg of milk during a lactation while suckling a calf and much higher milk yields have been recorded. With varied quantities of white on the neck and the underline, Sahiwal Cattle Breed has the range from reddish brown to the more dominating red. Towards the extremities, including the head, legs, and tail, the colour darkens in males.
